Paro, Thimphu, Punakha

Day 1:
On arrival at the Paro airport, received by our representative and then transfer to Thimphu, the modern capital town of Bhutan. (65km/approx 2hr drive). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast go to Thimphu sightseeing. Visit Tashichho Dzong, the beautiful medieval fortress/monastery, National Library, Arts & Crafts School, famous for traditional thangka paintings, Handicrafts Emporium. Then drive to Memorial Chorten, a stupa built in the memory of Bhutan s Third King who is popularly regarded as Father of modern Bhutan. Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.
Day 3:
After breakfast drive to Punakha with a short stop at Dochula. Several peaks can be seen during this journey. After arrive there local sightseeing. Overnight at the hotel in Punakha.
Day 4:
After breakfast drive to Paro en route visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the Kingdom built-in 1627. The afternoon does some local sightseeing. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.
Day 5:
After breakfast drive north of Paro valley to ruins of Drukgyel Dozng. Then take an excursion to Taktsang Monastery, the most famous of Bhutanese monasteries. While a return to Paro town visits en route Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the Kingdom.Overnight at the hotel in Paro.
